The Comfort Zone

When we become comfortable with our lives, we stop growing and sometimes the inner work is left behind.

This beautiful black leather blank notebook has been sitting on my shelves. A blank notebook which I have kept for years, knowing that I would eventually fill the pages with beautiful words, wrapping them eloquently throughout the lovely white pages.

This morning in particular, I was called to put words on these blank pages. Words that I couldn’t help but write. I am writing today as we are all confined to our homes — unless we are deemed necessary within our field of employment. A virus is among us that spreads easily and can be deadly. It is quite frankly a strange time.

This is the perfect time for those who would normally be traveling via planes, trains and automobiles to travel inward.

I have no doubts that when I do this, I gain clarity, I realign myself to my true values, I am calmer and have loving, beautiful thoughts within. My attitude and outlook on life grows into something magical, wondrous and beyond my imagination. My heart fills with pure joy.

Why then, do I find every excuse as to not to do this beautiful work? As Dr. Joe Dispenza said to me eloquently and personally at a recent event, “When we get to a point were we think we have everything we could possibly want, we have love, we are successful, we are healthy, we are happy, we no longer feel the need to do the work.” It is my sincere belief that what Dr. Joe was trying to convey to me is that NOW is the most important time to do the work.

When step into that “comfortable zone”, we stop growing, we halt our future selves becoming a reality, dead in its tracks. We simply exist in the material 3D world and we become “okay” with it. We let go of creating our future desires and we succumb to being who we are now. We become okay with doing the same thing day in and day out. We become complacent with normalcy. We get comfortable in the space, the place we created. Albeit, nothing could be further from the truth. We may have found temporary success or love but for our lives to matter, to really matter, we need to continue to do the work.

When we do the work, we exponentially grow our frequency and we broaden the frequency of the collective. This, my friends, is exactly what we all need right now…beautiful, magical, divine energy surrounding us all.

I am recommitting to myself, in this moment, on this day, that I will continue to dance in the light. I will connect with that beautiful wisdom and brighten my life and the lives of others.
